When I tell moms who have already have their babies what I do and how I help pregnant moms navigate their pregnancies, the first thing they say is always “I wish there was a person like you when I was pregnant”. The thing is, we don’t know what we don’t know and so many first time or even second time moms don’t realize that they have options, that they have choices and what those options and choices are. Are you one of the moms who think that exercising during pregnancy is a bad idea? If you are a low risk pregnancy and your midwife has given you the go ahead to exercise, then not only is it safe to do so during pregnancy but it brings with it a whole lot of benefits for both you and your baby, physically, mentally and emotionally.
Making sure you move your body every day is especially important during pregnancy, provided you are low risk, but it’s also a really great quality to teach your kids, the joy and benefit of being strong and fit. How can you make it really easy to get your exercise in? Do you do it the same time every day? Do you incorporate it in your daily routine like walking to work? Do you do it with friends? I will share my top five tips to fit exercise into your day easily.
